Following the success of his novel, The God File (MacAdam/Cage, March 2002), MacAdam/Cage is releasing the trade paperback of Frank Turner Hollon’s first novel, The Pains of April.

This short novel brings us the recollections of an old man in a rest home on the Gulf Coast. We feel the frustrations, lessons, and fears of a lifetime remembered, as this man looks for himself behind the veil of his memories and dreams. “Even at the end of April, there are so many things to learn.”

Frank Turner Hollon lives in Alabama with his wife and children. He is the author of The God File, A Thin Difference, The Point of Fracture, The Wait, Austin and Emily, and Life Is A Strange Place which was developed into the movie Barry Munday. The film Blood and Circumstance, based on Frank's novel by the same title, is currently in production.
