Farewell to Prague is a memoir set against the turbulent events of the Nazi era in Germany and World War II England.  It is the story of a girl who, at the age of six, witnesses a murder being committed by German Storm Troopers.  From that moment, the happy life she has known disintegrates.

About Miriam Darvas

Author of Farewell to Prague, a memoir set against the turbulent events of the Nazi era in Germany and World War II England. Miriam Darvas has been a starving student and CEO, a campaign manager and a candidate for the California Assembly, president and organizer of the National Womens Political Caucus and served on several Boards and Commissions. She has two adult daughters and lives in the Sierra foothills with three cats and one husband. Farewell to Prague is her first book.
